Cubs Fire Hitting Coach Gerald Perry

After 2 1/2 seasons, the Cubs have fired hitting coach Gerald Perry. The move comes after the teams .246 batting average, which ranks last among the National League. He will be replaced by Iowa Cubs hitting coach Von Joshua.

The move to bring in Joshua should certainly spark conversation about the possibility of bringing back Jake Fox.

I disagree. Lou has led the Cubs to 2 straight division titles. Maybe it is time to change the players. It wasn't Perry's fault the Cubs aren't hitting.
