I would love to get him but Hughes, Joba and Cano should be absolutely off limits. Kennedy, Duncan and Melky sounds good to me and no more than that. If they don't like that offer then we should take a shot at Tejada I suppose or maybe Edwin Encarnacion. PLEASE CASHMAN! DON'T DEAL HUGHES!noahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09809812487150844246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1558550671531180406.post-72574228833971429832007-11-05T20:59:00.000-06:002007-11-05T20:59:00.000-06:00Just posted this above before I saw this post spec...Just posted this above before I saw this post specific to Cabrera-Yanks: according to a Marlins beat reporter on Mike and the Mad Dog (WFAN 660 NY) last week, Girardi and Miguel Cabrera did not really have a positive relationship in FLA. The reporter stated something along the lines that Girardi, as Yanks coach, would more than likely NOT attempt to bring Cabrera to the NYY given their past relationship.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
