According to newspapers in Puerto Rico, the teams interested in Gonzalez are the Angels, Orioles, Tigers, and an unknown team. Although many scouts suggest that he has turned into a singles hitter, he claims that at 38, he can still hit the long ball. Gonzalez, who hit .281 with 4 HR and 18 RBI with the Carolina Gigantes, is hoping to reach the 500 home run club. He currently has 434 home runs.
