The Cubs and Carlos Zambrano have agreed to a one year deal, worth 12.4 million dollars, minutes before their hearing was to begin. Zambrano is hoping the Cubs can get a deal done before Opening Day, and avoiding arbitration is certainly a positive thing. Zambrano was 16-7 with a 3.41 ERA.
