The Astros have made it known that they are interested in trading Mark Loretta, Mike Lamb, or Jason Jennings. But it appears that the utility infielder might have found a spot with the Dodgers, who may be on the verge of trading Wilson
Betemit for relief pitching. Loretta, who will be a free agent after this season and is batting .310 with 2 HR and 30 RBI, would fit in nicely with the Dodgers plans for the second half of the season, and could easily switch into a bench role next season for them. Furthermore, the Dodgers could easily part with a minor
leaguer or two.

it's nice to hear Ned Colletti is trading for overpriced players way past their prime. it gives comfort to a Giants fan like me that there are other idiot GMs out there.
