Sosa in Japan?

The Yokohama BayStars have expressed interest in signing outfielder Sammy Sosa. According to the Japan Times, a proposed salary to Sosa was a one year deal, worth about 4 million dollars. Not only would Sosa draw crowds, but he might be able to adjust to Japanese play and do well. Although it is probably a long shot, he would get playing time everyday and it could help him, assuming he does well, to land a job on a Major League club in 2008. Sosa has hit 588 home runs with the Rangers, White Sox, Cubs, and Orioles and has posted a career average of .274.
