Clemens Won't Pitch Monday
Roger Clemens was scratched from his Monday start in Chicago due to a slight groin pain. Rather than rush him to return, the Yankees do not want to risk continuous pain, and will give him a couple more days of rest. He has done well in his previous performances in the minors, but it is still uncertain if he can return to form like the Yankees hope he can. Brian Cashman's job is riding on the performance that Roger Clemens puts out this season, because if he is a failure, it is 17 million dollars down the drain. Add that to the 45 million that was given to Japanese rookie Kei Igawa. Clemens is still expected to start next week.

clemens just wants to pitch against an NL team first most likely the pirates. maybe he will use this as an excuse and take the season off since he realizes he is going into the mess that is the new york yankees this season
this blog rules..shouldnt be long before you start getting more advertisements and interviews and such..best of luck
I hope if he pitches against the Pirates, the game is on ESPN.
That way the whole United States can watch him get ROCKED!!! By one of the worst teams in baseball!!! yes, I am a Pirates fan :(
