Andruw Jones Signs With Dodgers

The Dodgers and Andruw Jones have agreed to a two year deal, worth 36.2 million dollars. Jones, who has won 10 straight Gold Gloves, is coming off a bad year, but is likely to return to better numbers after struggling. With this signing, it makes it more likely that Matt Kemp will be traded.

18 mil a year for a showboat strikeout artist? Wow!

I think the Dodgers should look towards trading for Johan Santan. WIth the recent pick up of Andrew Jones, the outfield now looks crowded. You center the package around Matt Kemp and Chad Billingsley, and throw in Andy LaRoche. Looks like a good starting point to me with the Twins getting a CF,pitcher and 3rd base who are all young.
