i hate how all these names r getting leaked out i will not Believe anything on this report unless some big name red sox r on there if not i can not believe anything on it

i think its pretty funny how almost no red sox are on this. only what brendan donnelly? definitely that comes from mitchell working with the red sox. you cant tell me that ortiz or manny havent used roids. ortiz used to be a small guy, and now hes huge. this is complete bs, and i think its funny how they let this go by. i want a yankees guy to go in and find out how many red sox are juiced up. because i know its more than just one. and i think its funny how he named so many former yankees or yankees now, cause he probably hates them.

its a sad day for baseball when something like this is allowed to happen.

I find it so interesting that they weren't able to name many big-name players. They must have had more help covering their tracks while they were actively using. Where's McGwire, whose statements in front of Congress were as good as an admission? And where's Sosa?

I love how the Yankees fans are on here screaming bloody murder that George Mitchell is a Red Sox stooge digging for criminal Yankees. I hate both the Sox and the Yankees equally and I believe George Mitchell to be a man of integrity (and I'm not alone in that assessment). He NEVER claimed that this report was a comprehensive revelation of every offender known to man. In fact, he said the exact opposite.

There are guys from many teams on that list, most of them having some association with either BALCO or the two clubhouse guys who originated in the Mets organization. LOTS of players who are suspicious are not in the report (Juan Gonzalez, Sammy, McGuire, etc.).

If you want to question the credibility of the report, don't make the argument based on the fact that we didn't get a list of 1000 names (which is probably closer to the real truth) or that Mitchell is somehow suspect because of his association with the Red Sox organization. I suppose we should wonder why there aren't more Brewers on the list b/c Selig was the owner there?

The reality is that this report was an imperfect attempt to highlight a serious problem in MLB. Another fact is that Mitchell was limited in his ability to dig deeper b/c the players refused to cooperate and he had no right to subpoena witnesses. Does it matter that every drug-using All-Star or MVP ever wasn't named? Lots of teams are under-represented in the report, but that is besides the point. I can only hope that this is the beginning of a renewed and serious effort to clean up the game.

And if you wanna talk about a real conspiracy, let's talk about how the few big market clubs continue to prevent real parity in MLB.

bud selig just admitted he hasn't finished reading the report yet...i really think he's the problem with baseball. its funny though that mitchell said that clemens and petitte (both star yankee pitchers) both used roids, but no one on the red sox are on the list...

i'm sorry, bu why is everyone so critical of the red sox right now? just because yankees players did it, doesnt mean red sox players did it too.

Pathetic Yankee fan trying to spew Mitchell is buyest. I love how retards that don't know anything actually are dingy enough to comment. This dude went to Northern Ireland and helped shape the ways of an entire nation and culture when his own religion was in question for going. I highly doubt a man of his integrity and track record gives a crap about the Yankees I mean seriously. It baffles me how ignorant people can be. You have a New York drug pusher who was entrenched in a club house there, what damn city do you think the majority of the findings would be since they busted this guy. I guess with your logic if a Padres club house worker gets popped the Blue Jays are in deep crap.

We're "retards" and you say we are claiming Mitchell is "buyest" ? Did you mean ""biased""? Don't be such a MORE-ON.... :) There, now that THAT is out of the way,... I think what the Yankees fans might be sore about is the little part about how "this is just the tip of the iceberg" and how "this is only where this investigation went because these are the people connected who ended up cooperating" is getting lost in the mix. If there were other investigations that had other "leads" they would lead them in other directions and have produced other names. But when you catch a big fish,.. the smaller fish will always be linked in one way or another. They should try to catch some other big fish and that would spring open another web of connected players. You'er telling me Brett Boone (who is not on the list) just got enormous in that 5'7" frame or whatever he is? Looked like a rabid bulldog toward the end. But all this crying isn't going to help, so Yanks fans.... get over it. Who likes Clemens anyway? Personally i think 80% of the entire league are or were doing something. The nature of survival and grabbing the biggest paychecks you can while you can. There should be mandatory blood testing for all of it and lets just get past this era of the asterisk. Poor Roger Maria and Hank Aaron is all I can say.

after review of the whole report i dont think that mitchell did anything wrong in the report but the only reason that NY got most of the people because both of the Sources worked in both NY clubhouses but i hate the andy part though its complete BS i mean there is nothing there but a guys word that said he didnt know anything about roids till he was about to go to jail for a long time huh? thats wierd so i think that the report should only put names that could be proved in a court

so before you go on a rant, and try to look all tough and cool anonymous.

BIASED* not buyest.
its just kinda a coincidence how he named so many yankees, and so little red sox, when he works for the red sox. hmmmm seems like a conspiracy to me.
