Giants add Klesko, Phils add Werth
The Giants and Ryan Klesko have agreed to a one year deal. Klesko, who will battle for the first base job with Rich Aurilia missed 2006 with a shoulder injury. However, he has a career .280 hitter with an on base percentage of .372. The Phillies and Jayson Werth have agreed to a one year deal. Werth, who also missed 2006 with an injury, will be a reserve outfielder. In 2005, he hit .234 with seven home runs and 43 RBIs in 102 games.
