Orioles Offer Contract to Gonzalez

According to the Baltimore Sun, the Orioles have offered Luis Gonzalez a one year deal. Gonzalez is drawing interest from a lot of teams including the Mariners, Cardinals, and Giants. Terms of the one-year offer aren't known, but speculation around baseball is that Gonzalez, 39, will command about $8 million to $10 million per season. Luis Gonzalez batted .271 with 15 homers and 73 RBI's.
