The Cincinnati Reds have traded injured Chris Denorfia to the Oakland A's for two players to be named later and cash. The deal has been in the works for months now, but when Denorfia got hurt, it slowed the process. Although he won't be able to play until Spring Training, the A's were still interested in bringing the prospect to Oakland. He will probably have an outfield spot next year with Kielty and Bradley becoming free agents.
