Mets Wright Continues Streak
David Wright continued his 26 game hit streak tonight, the longest in Mets history. Wright singled in the fifth inning to hit in his fourteenth straight game. The streak carries over from September last season. Along with Wright, El Duque struck out ten Marlins as the Mets swept the Marlins in two games. Wright is batting .327 with 0 HR, 4 RBI, and 3 SB.
