Borowski to Indians, Weathers to Reds

The Indians and Joe Borowksi have reached a one year agreement that is pending a physical. Borowski, who failed his physical to sign a multi-year with the Phillies, will be the closer to start the year with the Indians. Borowski had 36 saves in 72 games. The Reds and Dave Weathers have reached an agreement for two years, 5 million dollars total. Weathers, who finished with a 3.54 ERA in 73 2/3 innings will sign the deal if he passes his physcial. Also, Twins pitcher Brad Radke plans to announce his retirement before Christmas.
