Is it too late to sign Kenny Lofton? The White Sox lost AL Homerun Leader Carlos Quentin and are using the struggling Ken Griffey Jr. in his place. While Griffey should find his form before seasons end, would it be worth taking a chance on Kenny Lofton, who could come in and dominate teams that are not familiar with him?
Lofton, a former White Sox, would fit in nicely with the team. He can hit anywhere in the lineup and has had decent success in September. He may not be interested in playing for only twenty games and not being eligible for the playoffs, but this would be a good way to prove to teams he can still play.
