He stated his interest to come back to the club so it is no surprise that this deal gets done as teams prepare for the big spending after Thanksgiving. Blum won a World Series with the White Sox in 2005 and played for the Astros is 2002 and 2003.

hey eli i was looking at your mailbag and u said the playoffs should be 7-7-7 because the teams cant do what then normally do in a 5 game seris why?
i think that because it does not allow teams to show their depth. in three games, you only see a part of the teams pitching staff-and only the starters. in a seven game series with travel and all, players get more worn down and you then see the part of the team that win a lot of the games.
what do you think about the normal scheduling?
