Cubs prospect a bust?: It is probably too early to say the Cubs prospect Felix Pie is a bust, but he is batting .210 with 14 K's in 18 games in Winter Ball. Not impressive, especially after he worked for weeks with Cubs hitting coach Gerald Perry to cut his swing back. He did struggle with the major league team after dominating down in Triple-A which makes me think he is too good for Triple-A, but just not there yet for the MLB. I doubt the Cubs will give up on him yet, but I am sure they will give Ryan Theriot, Eric Patterson, and maybe give a veteran outfield a shot to ease Pie into the full time role. As for right field, I am all for Matt Murton, but only if they brought in a proven center fielder. They are really hoping they can bring in Kosuke Fukudome, maybe Milton Bradley, but no word on negotiations yet.
