According to Jason Stark, the White Sox have traded Freddy Garcia to the Phillies for Gavin Floyd and Gio Gonzalez. Garcia was 17-9 with a 4.53 ERA and 135 K. Floyd was 4-3 with a 7.29 ERA and 34 K. This should open the way for Bradon McCarthy to start for the Sox in 2007.

good trade white sox or bad?
horrible trade. what the heck are the whitesox thinking...its DEFINITELY a steal for the phillies though.
The White Sox got some pretty good prospects but definetly not enough for GArcia who is a beastly pitcher who can dominate a game. Good job Pat gillick
