Phillies and Cubs Make Deal for Scott Eyre

The Phillies and Cubs made a deal for LH reliever Scott Eyre in exchange for minor league RH pitcher Brian Schlitter. Eyre was in the third year of a 3-yr. deal with the Cubs. He is 23-29 with four saves and a 4.42 ERA in 556 games with four teams. Schlitter was a 16th round draft pick in 2007.
