The Cubs and the White Sox agreed to a deal to trade relievers. The Cubs traded David Aardsma and Carlos Vasquez to the White Sox for Neal Cotts. The Cubs made the trade in hopes that Neal Cotts could make a couple starts, possibly go into the rotation if they lose on some starting pitchers they are interested in acquiring. For the White Sox, they acquire a hard throwing reliever that will help close up the game for Bobby Jenks. I do not think the trade will make a huge impact, but it could help both bullpens.
