Padres Want Nomar Garciaparra, Todd Walker and Ray Durham

According to the San Diego Union Tribune, the Padres would like to bring in Nomar Garciaparra and Ray Durham. They would also like to hold onto Todd Walker. Scott Linebrink, who was reported as being on his way out in San Diego will now stay because they acquired two new relievers. Nomar, who was injured three times this year, will probably have to settle for a some what small contract, with incentives. Durham, who has been with the Giants for some time, would be a good fit for the Padres because he plays there so much. One reason Walker might not be back is because Kevin Kouzmanoff was acquired and may start at third.
