According to the Denver Post, the White Sox have signed second baseman Jayson Nix. Nix, who hit .125 in 22 games for the Rockies, was given the opening day nod after a strong winter. However, he just could not hold on and ended up putting together a pretty good year at Triple-A. This is a great signing by the White Sox who view Nix as a fall back if they miss out on their first targets at second base. Either way, he makes for a solid back up.
