The Blue Jays are reportedly in talks with free agent pitcher Shawn Hill. Hill has some upside despite battling elbow injuries. Hill, who was 4-5 with a 3.42 ERA in sixteen games in 2007, pitched in just two games this Spring not surrendering a run. He could be a cheap addition to the Blue Jays who could give them a dozen or so spot starts.

Another low risk high reward opportunity the Jays are considering. I hope it pans out - always nice to have hometown talent playing for your team.
