Dodgers Have Interest In Mulder

The Boston  Globe is reporting that the Dodgers have some interest in free agent lefty Mark Mulder. Mulder is in the final stage of his rehab with Michigan State pitching coach Greg Gunderson, and will likely throw for teams next week. Mulder is probably looking at a Triple-A deal, but the 6-foot-6 lefty will likely join a major league team after getting used to facing hitters. His agent, Gregg Clifton, expects at least a half dozen teams to be in attendance to see him throw.

The Padres would be smart to take a stab at him.
