The Denver Post is reporting that the Rockies are shopping catcher Yorvit Torrealba and infielder Jeff Baker. With Sal Fasano having a good spring, the Rockies could clear some payroll by moving Torrealba, who will make 3.5 million dollars in 2009 with a 500,000 dollar buyout for 2010. Although Baker is 5-for-22 this spring, he is very versatile having played first, second, third, and the outfield last season. The Pirates were reportedly on hand Tuesday to watch morning workouts, and a trade for Baker is possible.
