The Cubs and Corey Koskie have agreed to a minor league deal with an invitation to Spring Training. Although Koskie is playing for Team Canada and will leave Cubs camp next week for the tournament, he is expected to compete for a bench role. Koskie is a career .275 hitter with a 124 career homeruns in nine major league seasons. Recently, Koskie has been dealing with post concussion syndrome, but he has been given the go ahead to continue playing.
