The Dodgers and Andre Ethier have agreed to a one year deal worth 3.1 million dollars, avoiding arbitration. Ethier hit .305 with 20 HR in 141 games for the Dodgers last season, and received a great boost from the Manny Ramirez acquisition. He hit .335 with 9 HR after the All-Star Game, which included a .462 average in September.
Marlins Extend Gonzalez: The Marlins and Fredi Gonzalez have agreed to a two year extension. He's played a key part in the teams development following Jack McKean's departure.
