Free agent righty Braden Looper is still drawing interest, despite the slow moving market. While the Orioles remain his most aggressive suitor, Looper is waiting on other pitchers, which some sources say is a sign that he does not want to pitch in Baltimore. However, one executive believes that the Dodgers will sign Wolf, forcing Looper back to Baltimore.
We'll see if another team emerges for Looper, who went 12-14 with a 4.16 ERA in thirty-three games for the Cardinals last season. The Mariners, Brewers, and Padres, among others, could be players for his services.

Looper should beg to stay with Duncan and La Russa in St. Louis. His numbers honestly weren't bad last year, with a 4.16 ERA in 199 innings. He's only that good because of Duncan's tutelage, so he should beg to stay in St. Louis.
why would the mariners want him when they already have overpaid pitchers and the padres wont spend money
