The Twins are still interested in free agent third baseman Joe Crede, who is expected to sign within the next two weeks. 'There are some within the organization that would like the Twins to take a chance, but there are some who think it is too big of a risk.' Crede hit .248 with 17 HR in 97 games for the White Sox last season, but battled injuries along the way. If healthy, Crede could hit .270-.280 with 20-plus homeruns.
The Giants are also believed to be interested, but I expect the Twins to make a move in the next week or so. (Unfortunately, it is just a hunch)
