The Red Sox are reportedly talking a trade with the Diamondbacks that would send Julio Lugo to the Diamondbacks for Eric Byrnes. Byrnes has twenty-two million dollars left on his contract while Lugo has eighteen million dollars, so they do match up.
Lugo would probably take over at second base.

Thanks for the trade update. Byrnes is not worth the money, but his clubhouse presence will just add to the already best clubhouse in the league.
