The Giants have signed Randy Johnson to a one year deal. Johnson, who went 11-10 with a 3.91 ERA, will make for a good mentor for their young pitching staff. Assuming he can stay healthy, Johnson is good for at least 150 innings and 160 strikeouts. He has given up a lot of homeruns in recent years (24 in 2008), but a move to AT&T Park could keep those numbers low. It's good signing for the Giants, who bring in a solid veteran and future Hall of Famer.
