According to one NL executive, the Braves have increased their offer to free agent pitcher A.J. Burnett. FOXSports.com is reporting the deal is for five years worth 80 million dollars, but the deal is reportedly between 80-85 million dollars, which would be about seventeen million a year for Burnett. The Yankees have extended an offer to Burnett, as well as Derek Lowe, but sources say they are having meetings this morning to discuss whether or not to keep both offers on the table.
