According to the Newark Star-Ledger, the Yankees are on the verge of trading Melky Cabrera to the Brewers for Mike Cameron. Since Cameron has ten million dollars on his contract, the Brewers and Yankees are currently negotiating how much the Brewers will pay for and what minor league pitcher they will get in return.
A deal will likely be finalized after the Rule 5 Draft.
