According to the Los Angeles Times, the Dodgers have offered Rafael Furcal a two year deal with a vesting option for a third. The Dodgers should have waited till around Christmas to offer this - Furcal would settle for a pretty cheap contract then. At this point, several teams are willing to offer a four year deal for Furcal, so they will probably reject that offer and wait for the one they are looking for.
If Furcal holds out too long though, that may be the best offer he can get.
