Sabathia Signs With Yankees

According to Ken Rosenthal, the Yankees and CC Sabathia have agreed to a seven year deal worth 170 million dollars. The deal was reportedly agreed to late last night after Yankees GM Brian Cashman flew to San Francisco to meet with Sabathia and his agents.

We should expect to see a slew of second tier free agents sign over the next 72-hours.

Well it appears that all of the talk that Sabathia is playing for the love of the game and really wants to play close to home is a bunch of crap!

Either he's a hypocrite, the players union or his agent seriously leaned on him to take the money puts his true character out there.

It's definitely time for a salary cap in MLB!!
