The A's and Justin Duchscherer have agreed to a one year deal worth 3.9 million dollars, according to ESPN.com. Duchscherer, who went 10-8 with a 2.54 ERA in 22 starts last season, is a two-time All-Star. Duchscherer has a career 3.14 ERA in 319 games, just 27 starts though. If Duchscherer, 31, can prove to be a solid starter, they may look to trade him for prospects, but only if the A's fall out of contention early.
