The Orioles and Koji Uehara have agreed to a two year deal worth 10 million dollars, the Baltimore Sun is reporting. Uehara is the first Japanese pitcher to ever pitch for the Orioles, and sources have informed me that the Orioles have interest in signing more Pacific Rim players. The Orioles would like for Uehara to start, and currently have him penciled in as their number two starter. Over his 11 year career in Japan with the Giants, he went 112-62 with a 3.01 ERA and struck out 1,376, while walking just 206 batters.
