The Pirates are reportedly showing interest in veteran outfielder Luis Gonzalez, according to the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette. Gonzalez has really taken to mentoring young players, like he did in Florida. In 136 games last season, Gonzalez hit .261 with 8 HR and a .336 OBP. He probably wouldn't have a huge impact on the team on the field, but he would provide the Pirates with an All-Star veteran with years of experience.
