The Red Sox and Kevin Youkilis have agreed to a four year deal worth forty-million dollars. The deal reportedly includes an option for the 2013 season. Youkilis, who finished third in MVP voting this year, put up career highs in average, homeruns, and RBIs. The Red Sox also locked up Dustin Pedroia this offseason, and hope to lock up Jason Bay before the season as well.
