The Miami Herald is reporting that the Marlins and Scott Proctor have come to terms on a one year deal worth about 750,000 dollars. Proctor, 32, has to pass a physical before the deal is official, and he had elbow problems last season. Proctor was 2-0 with a 6.05 ERA in 41 games for the Dodgers last season, but finished his final eight games with a 2.57 ERA. Proctor had a 3.81 ERA in 52 games for the Dodgers in 2007, and a 3.38 ERA the year before that.
Proctor should be ready for Spring Training next month.
