Lyon Closing In On Team?

MLB.com is reporting that Brandon Lyon is deciding between two teams, the Tigers and an unknown team. His agent, Barry Meister, told reporters last week that Lyon has a two year offer on the table worth 9 million dollars. Lyon was solid in the first half of the season compiling a 2.43 ERA with 19 saves, but struggled in the second half with an 8.46 ERA. The Cardinals reportedly have interest in Lyon, but my source could neither "confirm or deny" if the Cardinals made an offer to him.

The Twins also have interest, but are also looking at Eric Gagne and Russ Springer.
